So, I'm thinking that Pam may be on to something (swipe for the genius 🙌🏼) I found myself ogling beauutiful foiled Christmas cards over the weekend in @AnthropologieEU, itching to write them and get them sent out 💌 But stopped myself because ‘November’, but now I want to go back because ‘first real Christmas since COVID’. So, here we are friends, in Christmas card limbo. But I think I'm going to just join Pam and crack on with it 🤗 Where are you at with this critical Christmas decision 😆?! #MBHome #MBChristmas

If you follow my Stories you’ll probably have seen me posting about my daily walks. I try to head out for a walk every day, ideally in the mornings to get my body clock off to a good start (a tip I learnt from @WildNutritionLtd!). Recently I’ve been leaning into the meditative effects of walking without distractions ~ meaning no podcasts, audio books or messaging on the go. At first I thought I’d get bored, but I’ve actually found that I love it! It’s peaceful + restorative and I really feel like I’m noticing the work of Mama Nature on my travels 🍁 Especially right now ~ the leaves get warmer and more scarce every day. I’m noticing things outside of nature too ~ like the twinkly lights which have been strung up ready to be lit. Paying better attention has generally made me feel more present, which in a world of constant distractions, counts as my daily meditation. All this to say, that if you feel chained to your desk, tired-but-wired or generally frazzled (i.e. how I feel at times 🤣), I’ve found that taking a daily walk REALLY helps ❤️ #Autumn2021 #MicroHabits

For the first time in a looong time I turned off my emails + notifications, resolutely logged out of my IG account and gave myself a breather. I had time to rest, gain some bandwidth and come back to things with eyes (and mind!) afresh.
