So I did a thing . . . Introducing: In Reel Time ~ Teaching You How To Use Instagram Reels With Confidence – more below!
Hi sweet friends! I hope that as you read this you’re having a good day, and that you’re accompanied by a warming cup of something tasty. I say that because that’s my ideal way to dive into my favourite blogs, but if you’re catching up on this post on the fly, a big hello and love to you too!
Firstly, thank you SO much to each and every one of you that took the time to complete my 2021 Reader Survey. It’s not the most exciting of things compiling a survey (least of all completing one!) but your responses are absolutely invaluable to me, and I am so grateful for all of the feedback. Whilst constructive comments are oftentimes the ones which encourage the most change, the supportive, loving comments help to spur me on too. I gained some really lovely feedback off of the back of the survey which helped me to fall a little bit more in love with this corner of the internet. And remind me of why I do what I do. So thank you, thank you, thank you again!
Your feedback directly impacts the direction and content of the blog. I’m excited to put your suggestions into practice!
And now for some exciting NEWS!
Introducing: In Reel Time
A Course Which Teaches You How To Use Instagram Reels With Confidence
Eep I have been so excited to share this news with you! I have launched my very first online course, alongside my great friend and collaborator Charlotte Bryer-Ash!
In Reel Time is an easy to follow 5 part course, designed to teach you how to use Instagram Reels with confidence!
In the summer of 2021 Instagram head Adam Mosseri announced that Instagram will be shifting its efforts to four key areas, one of which is video content. As Adam shared, Instagram has big competition in the online entertainment world, listing YouTube and TikTok specifically. Instead of resisting the competition, Adam shared that Instagram is leaning into the change. Which is exactly what we want to do too!
As photographers (Charlotte!) and content creators (yours truly!) we have got VERY comfortable with sharing still images. We’re aesthetic people and love a well-curated feed. Can you relate?!
Change can feel uncomfortable, and we both had out reservations about hopping on the Instagram Reels train. However, in order to stay current and keep our businesses moving forward, we know that mastering Instagram Reels is essential. And so Charlotte and I set about teaching ourselves how to create video content for Instagram Reels, so that we can share our experience with you, and teach other business owners how to harness the power of video content on Instagram.
Hence the idea for In Reel Time was born!
And we are SO happy to introduce it to you!
In Reel Time covers:
- WHY Instagram Reels are so valuable
- HOW to plan your Instagram Reels content
- HOW to execute the video creation
- HOW to schedule your content
- HOW to review your content and plan for the future
Charlotte and I are so excited to share all that we have learnt about Instagram Reels with YOU and hope that this course helps you to get on board the video-creation train, and move your business forwards.
