Yayyy! The time has come for my Christmas decorations home tour ~ the 2021 edition!
This is truly my favourite blog post of the whole year! Not just because I get to share ALL the twinkly things with you, but because it’s also a chance for me to dive into all the festive feels!
Wayyy back when this year, Ols and I decided to go all-out this Christmas. We decided that we needed to make this one extra special, to celebrate all that we’ve navigated over the past couple of years, and to welcome as many of our friends and family into the warm Welburn-Leggett festive-fold as possible.
We got out tree early (SO happy we did!), hosted a party for our friends, have enjoyed MANY a sofa night with the fire roaring and lights twinkling. And now we’re excited to host our family over the festive season. From Christmas Eve-Eve onwards we have family staying with us, and I truly can’t wait to hear the rattle of laughter and chat that always comes with family filling our four walls. My little nephew is now 3, and so he’s more into Christmas than ever, which will also make the next few days all the more special.
Today is my last day posting to the blog for 2021, thank you thank you thank you for your support this year, I am truly so grateful for you.
Wishing you and yours the most magical Christmas season!
Sending love and hugs your way! Leaving you with all the Christmas decor pics . . . !

We focused on a gold, red, pine, apricot and white colour scheme this year. Inc. natural accents from dried citrus fruit, to pine cones and dried flowers.
I only bought a few new decorations this year. H&M home really came up trumps for these sweet jingle bell decorations, and I also bought a couple of new hand-painted gems from the Christmas Tree farm. Red velvet ribbon bows also feature heavily on our tree this year which I absolutely adore! I’ll definitely be implementing these again in future years!
In general, wherever I saw a gap, I popped a scattering of baubles and lights down. For me, I like it when things feel a bit ‘undone’; a bauble here or there feels playful.
And of course, we have our Polar Express train to top the tree off!
