I am so excited about The Elgin Avenue this year! I just celebrated my eighth blogger-versary and, as with so many things, I feel more confident and settled the further into this journey I get. 

With eight years under my belt and a HEAP of learning to go with it, in 2019 I’m focusing on the content I REALLY love creating and sharing with you.

Meaning: no content because it’s on trend, or because it’s click-bait, or because I feel like it’s something I *should* be talking about . . . but purely sharing because I’m passionate about X, Y or Z.

5 Ways To Add More Joy Into 2019

The start of a new year is an amazing time to press pause, re-evaluate where you are at, and set intentions for the year ahead. 

As you consider these things over the festive season, I wanted to bring focus to something we can all prioritise more of in 2019: joy. 

What brings you joy? When do you feel that warmth of happiness? Are there habits, things or people which bring you more joy than others?

Recapping The Philips Steam Sanctuary At Lime Wood Hotel

What a way to kick-start the summer! If you follow me on Instagram you’ll have seen that Ella and I recently hosted an incredible retreat with Philips, at the beautiful Lime Wood Hotel in the New Forest.

The purpose of our retreat was to bring together a group of our favourite blogging girls, to get to know the new Philips Steam&Go Plus handheld garment steamer. Which as you know, I’m already a huge fan of.

(I’ve literally used nothing else to prep or refresh my clothes since getting it!)

What ensued, over our 24 hours together, was a truly magical retreat. It was filled with LOTS of chat about clothes (what else?!), how to care for them, and a dialogue around mindfulness and how we can all look after ourselves better.

It was a trip I’ll never forget, and I’m so excited to relive it with you on the blog today . . .
