Right now, it feels as if arms full of flowers and a wardrobe full of blush hues is the way to welcome in Spring; I couldn’t contain my excitement at this beautiful Chloé Elsie bag completing my look yesterday – Chloé has been getting my heart quickening a pace all season (both on the accessories and apparel front) and the lovely team at Monnier Frères loaned this beauty for me to play out my Chloé girl dreams!
I’ve been admiring blush outfits on some of my favourite bloggers for weeks now; Julia from Gal Meets Glam is practically synonymous with all things rosey (I swear no one wears blush tones as frequently, or as well as her!), and this look on Kat, from With Love From Kat, could convince even the most un-girly of girls on blush – so chic!
If top to toe blush feels too saccharine for you, break it up with black, grey, white or camel – blush is a surprisingly great neutral!
For me, I zoned in on this pleated nude maxi dress from Next on my video shoot with the brand last week. I knew immediately I wanted to wear it with the Chloé Mini Elsie bag which had been patiently awaiting THE outfit for a couple of weeks! (Do you do that too? Keep an item until you’ve found the perfect outfit to go with it?!)
I love wearing a maxi length in the day time; it’s a dramatic silhouette, but when paired with a simple crew neck jumper, leather or even denim jacket it makes the whole look more relaxed and wearable.
99% of the time I wear flats during the day, but a stack heel could work with a maxi skirt too should you need the extra height.
Blush hues are a great option for weddings and Spring occasions – but I bet you guys already guessed that!
Do you guys love blush hues too? How would you wear yours?
Love, Monica x
